A while back, my friend Maura wanted some pictures of her and her boyfriend before he deployed again with the Marines. Here are just a few of the pictures I got. These two are soooo obsessed with each other. LOL! And I think their love really shines through in these pictures. But that might just be the “mush” talking. LOL!

It’s been a while since I shot this girl’s senior pictures, but Dana truly is one of the kindest, funniest, most laid back people I have ever had the pleasure of getting to know. It’s pretty evident from her photos that the shoot itself was a huge success.
Here is Dana Porter, a senior at Farmerville High School.

On August 2nd 2007, my brother Rollin and his wife Cherub welcomed a beautiful baby girl into our lives. I couldnt’ve been a happier uncle. Ladies and gentlemen, my niece, Magnolia (”Maggie”) Gale Alford.
The proud papa (my brother Rollin):

The family gets introduced.

The proud papa makes a phone call or two to some family members.

Ain’t she so cute!!

The “other” uncle Ryan waiting to see his new niece. (He’ll welcome his daughter in January.)

Maggie..in all her girly glory!

My niece Morgan and her “Big Daddy” (my dad) with my newest niece Maggie.

One proud uncle!

I’m sorry I haven’t been blogging here like I should. But as you might know, I’ve been really busy lately. I have 3 more updates to do this week, not including one or two that might come at the end of this week.
Anyways, last week I had the joy of shooting the Hill kids and the Fulton sisters. There are plenty of amazing shots (of some amazing kids, by the way) but unfortunately, I’m not able to display all of them. However, here a few of my favorites to kind of give you an idea of how awesome this photo shoot was!

…and after an exhaustive photo shoot, an angry diva storms off the set and drives off.

Over the past few weeks, I’ve been busy, busy, busy shooting photos of kids for the Watermelon Festival Photo Contest. Out of the 8 pictures I had in the competition, 5 of them placed (although all 8 are winners in my book..and rightfully so!)
These were some cute kids and I had plenty of photos to choose from, but in an effort to cut down on using up WordPress storage space, I only posted 2 photos for each child. The photo on the left is my own personal favorite and the photo on the right is the photo that was submitted for the contest.
NOTE: The photos for Dara Johnson weren’t eligible for the photo contest due to age restrictions, but the photo on the right is being used for pageant purposes.
I am very proud of all of these photos and I wish I could showcase more than this. Parents, you got some cute kids! You should be very proud! I know I am!!

Man! What a photo shoot! We only shot three locations and a total of about an hour and a half, but the time flew by with this happy family! The kids are cute, the parents are great, and the photos are outstanding! Thanks to Trey, Carrie, Garrett, Gracie, and Anna Claire for cooperating, having faith in my work, and giving me the chance to photograph such an awesome family!
